To solicit from the public tax-deductible donations.
To grant educational scholarships or training of those persons wishing to pursue employment or careers in the dude ranch industry and supporting industries.
To administer monies in trust to provide skilled personnel for the continued expansion and success of the dude ranch industry.
To establish, operate, and maintain a museum (heritage center), archives and research area for the education of the public as to the historical importance of the dude ranching industry.
To acquire and maintain historic collections of artifacts, memorabilia and photographs to be used for the educational research and museum purposes.
To create, administer and promote a safety program pertaining to Dude Ranching and specifically address horse safety. The program shall be made available to DRA member ranches at a minimal cost. The safety program shall be made available for purchase to the public.
Continuing Education in the dude ranching industry.
Conservation and preservation of real property used for the purpose of operating dude ranches.
Through a partnership with Dude Ranchers’ Association members, introducing children and families to dude ranching experiences who might not otherwise be able to afford a dude ranch vacation.
